"Jordan Peterson, who might conceivably trigger a thought revolution has, in my view, been smeared because he inspires inquiry."
Behind the cringe-worthy language, what you're arguing just isn't true. Peterson's role is one of *mystifying* - obscuring the role of power, of capital, of the many nuances and details which would blow his simplistic, quasi-religious categories out of the water. What he means by the boogeymen of Marxism and postmodernism, the individual, preservation and even "the West" make no sense if you independently think about these buzzwords for 2 seconds. He offers a simplistic, dualistic worldview (no different from other cults), and you have to be actively incurious to buy into it.
